Dell skrev igår på sin officiella blogg att Dell Mini 3i nu börjar säljas via China Mobile, och samtidigt får vi lite mer information om telefonen i fråga. Den kinesiska versionen kommer att använda sig av Android OS, men då Android i OPhone-iteration, vilket är China Mobiles modifikation av Android med ett omarbetat GUI och en del inaktiverade funktioner. Telefonen kommer att finnas i två färger – en röd som kallas Red Passion och en bronsfärg som kallas Oiled Bronze.

Regarding hardware, Dell is about flexibility. We’ll continue to look at new technology that is important to customers. As we expand hardware and create new carrier partnerships, feature sets may vary depending on the needs of mobile operators. Don’t expect all Dell smartphones to have the same spec and feature list. Design and technical specs will vary based on the needs of carriers, regional considerations, and what customers want.

Det verkar alltså onekligen som om att Dell öppnar för möjligheten att telefonen i någon form kommer att lanseras på flera marknader i framtiden.
