Can you try the Touch Firmware update, and the full factory reset at the bottom of this post:

Har testat detta utan resultat. Finns det inte något annat program som man kan göra en hel restore på telefonen?

Someone mentioned that their firmware came up as 0x4 rather than 0x7 on the *#*#2663#*#* screen - is that what yours is?

If so, can you do this please:

With the phone rooted:

• Install 'sshdroid' from market
• Reboot phone
• As soon as the phone has finished booting, start sshdroid and use putty or something similar to SSH into the phone
• Run the command 'dmesg > /mnt/sdcard/dmesg.out
• Connect to the phone via USB and copy the file 'dmesg.out' from storage

You can then email that file to me (xrobau@gmail.com) or, paste the entire contents of the file to pastebin.com

That'll help me find the problem.

Uppskattar verkligen ni som försöker lösa detta med root.
Vågar själv inte göra detta än utan att det finns en lösning på problemet som kan uppstå.

På min som är stock så har jag samma FW till toucknapparna som du har darklte

Jag är inte så insatt på vad allt det här med stock och det betyder :/ har ägt en iphone i 2 år och spontan köpte mig en S2lte för 2 dagar sen, försökte direkt roota den men knapparna sluta fungera direkt

That, along with the dmesg you sent me (thanks!) says that the touch buttons are not responding over the i2c bus at all.

I've had someone else say that they had 0x4 as the version, not 0x0.

Something extremely odd is happening with these phones, and I don't know what it is.

I'll be back home next week and will be able to look into it further (I'm currently about 1000km north of where I live

Thanks for trying to solve this problem! Seems strange that rooting the phone would damage the capacitive buttons... What language is this coded in?

Någon lösning på back och meny knapparna? min vän roota sin Galaxy S II LTE och de sluta funka för henne men för mig funkar det..
