Associated Press och British Movietone har tillsammans laddat upp över 550 000 videoklipp till YouTube. Klippen, som sträcker sig över drygt en miljon minuter, visar historiska händelser från de senaste 120 åren.

Videorna täcker exempelvis händelser som attacken mot Pearl Harbor 1941, Berlinmurens fall och effekterna av jordbävningen i San Francisco år 1906. Associated Press menar att de två YouTube-kanalerna är ”visuella uppslagsverk” som erbjuder ”unika perspektiv för de mest betydelsefulla tidpunkterna i modern historia”.
